Multi- Million Dollar Grant To Help Improve Safety At Airport

U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) today congratulated the City of Delaware on receiving a Department of Transportation Grant to make improvements at Delaware Municipal Airport Jim Moore Field.
"This multi-million dollar grant will help improve safety at the airport," said Congressman Tiberi. "Extending the runway and resurfacing both the runway and taxiway will improve passengers' experience."
The $4.27 million grant was awarded to extend and rehabilitate the runway. Delaware Municipal Airport Jim Moore Field is a leading Central Ohio general aviation facility. Approximately 80 aircraft are based there and it handles an estimated 40,000 operations per year.
